Terry Owens is the architect and master general of Aldershot Town Football Club after the demise of the former Aldershot FC, and the former Chairman and now club Ambassador.

MANY an Aldershot FC fan can tell you where they were in 1992, the year that their football club was officially closed down. Along with the day the Falklands War started, or when Aldershot drew with West Ham in the FA Cup, it remains lodged in SHOTS fans memories.

Hundreds of supporters paid homage that day Aldershot FC died in 1992 to curtailed joys by adorning the club gates with their football scarves, never thinking they would have to return in the new season to buy new scarves when the ball started rolling again.

Thanks to Mr Aldershot Terry Owens and his team, which included the late actor Arthur English, who starred in many British Comedies including; Are You Being Served, In Sickness and In Health, Till Death Do Us Part and non comedy TV shows including The Sweeny, the turnstiles were about to turn once more, this time in Diadora League 3.

A football Non-league journey which in 2008 culminated in Aldershot Town FC's return to Football League 2.

An amazing journey driven by an amazing gentleman, Mr Aldershot... Terry Owens.

See you all on the inside.
